Brinktop Vineyard
Brinktop Vineyard, located on the historic Killara Farm at Penna, is one of the shining stars of the Coal Valley wine region. Built from the ground up, the vineyard produces award-winning wines that showcase the character and terroir of the valley. Each bottle is hand-crafted from carefully selected clones and hand-picked fruit, reflecting both the skill of the winemaker and the vitality of the land.
The vineyard’s range includes Sparkling Pinot Noir Rosé, Tempranillo Rosé, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo, and Syrah. These limited-release wines are highly sought after and often sell out quickly. At the cellar door, open Fridays and Saturdays from midday to 5 pm, visitors are welcomed by winemaker Todd Goebel and co-owner Gill Christian.
Tastings are offered in a relaxed, rustic setting with sweeping views over the vines and the Coal Valley. Depending on the season, you might even see winemaking in action.
