Daisy Bank Cottages

Daisy Bank has been home to the Jones family since 1896, with a farming legacy spanning wool, seeds, and livestock. Today, the property blends its rich agricultural heritage with welcoming accommodation, inviting guests to stay in lovingly restored sandstone cottages overlooking Richmond Village in Tasmania’s Coal River Valley.

Libby’s cottage

The original 1830s barn, once a shearing shed, has been converted into Daisy Bank Cottages – each designed to capture the charm of the past while offering modern comfort. Guests can choose from three unique stays: the romantic Jessie’s Cottage with a spa bath, the family-friendly Libby’s Cottage, or the secluded Tiny Hideaway, an off-grid eco escape for couples.
Beyond the cottages, the farm is alive with character. Border collies Pip and Tex, little Taco, free-ranging chickens, and horses Goldie and Casper are part of the experience, while the bush reserve bursts into colour with orchids in spring. Guests can explore the farm, relax in peaceful gardens, or venture into nearby Richmond, just minutes away, to discover historic bridges, vineyards, and artisan shops.
