Frogmore Creek

Frogmore Creek is Southern Tasmania’s largest cool-climate winery, located just 15 minutes from Hobart in the heart of the Coal River Valley. Home to the Frogmore Creek and 42 Degrees South labels, the winery produces award-winning wines that capture the essence of the region’s rich terroir. Visitors can enjoy guided tastings at the cellar door, where knowledgeable staff share insights into the winemaking process and the unique characteristics of each varietal.

The vineyard combines modern techniques with a deep respect for the land, ensuring every bottle reflects both innovation and tradition. Chief Winemaker Alain Rousseau and Vineyard Manager Danny Belbin, a fifth-generation Coal River Valley farmer, lead the way in crafting premium wines recognised nationally and internationally.
The cellar door is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm, making it an ideal stop for anyone looking to explore Tasmania’s wine country. Guests are invited to sip, savour, and relax while overlooking the sweeping vineyard vistas and waterways that define this scenic landscape.
After enjoying a tasting, continue your experience with a gourmet meal at the on-site restaurant, where local flavours are paired perfectly with Frogmore Creek wines.
