Puddleduck Vineyard is a family-owned and operated winery in Tasmania’s Coal River Valley, just minutes from the historic township of Richmond. Known for producing cool-climate wines entirely onsite, Puddleduck is one of the few vineyards in Australia that grows, crafts, and sells its wines exclusively at the cellar door. This dedication to authenticity ensures that every bottle reflects the care and passion of the family behind it.
The vineyard offers a relaxed and welcoming space where visitors can enjoy daily wine tastings from 10 am to 5 pm. Puddleduck’s signature wines include the award-winning Bubbleduck sparkling, alongside a range of elegant varietals that capture the essence of the region. Visitors can also browse the quirky and much-loved “Everything Ducky Duck Shop,” which stocks duck-themed gifts and locally made Tasmanian produce.
Children are made welcome too, with a safe playground and plenty of ducks and guinea fowl to feed, making the vineyard an ideal stop for families as well as wine enthusiasts.
